In the CODING ART LABs, artists open up their digital toolkits. In hands-on workshops, participants learn how to develop their own creative applications—from interactive imagery to generative worlds.
The Labs are open to anyone eager to explore digital tools for artistic expression—no prior experience necessary. The focus lies on artistic approaches to technology, seeing it as both a medium of expression and a space for experimentation.
14 June 2025: Ready, Set, Filter! Create Your Own Face Filters
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn step by step how to create their own Snapchat face filters using Easy Lens – no coding skills required. After a brief introduction to the basics of augmented reality (AR), face tracking and interactivity, we’ll dive straight into practice: with a smartphone, a laptop, and a bit of creativity, participants will design their own interactive AR filter.
The workshop is open to both beginners and those with some experience, offering an accessible entry point into the world of digital creation. Perfect for anyone curious about AR and digital art who wants to bring their own ideas to life in augmented reality.
Please bring your own smartphone and laptop. Further information will be provided upon registration.
