Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer-generated scenario that simulates a realistic experience through 3D-images. These images are either projected on large 360 degress-screens or directly viewed through VR glasses. Art has been making use of Virtual Reality since the 1980s, however, only the rapid technological development of the last years and the corresponding democratization of the medium have led to the emergence of a an independent art form and –scene, for which we at VRHAM! want to provide a platform and a home.
