EVOLVER directed by British art collective Marshmallow Laser Feast is an immersive journey through the breathing body, guided by the voice of Academy Award winning actress Cate Blanchett. Commencing with a ten-minute binaural audio meditation to allow audiences to decompress, EVOLVER invites participants to explore structures hidden far beneath their own skin.

Taking viewers through a sequence of breathing, the experience visualises the very essence of life itself, as air travels from the mouth into the lungs, before circulating around the complex branches of the cardiovascular system and back out into the natural world. The 360° environment features musical scores by internationally acclaimed musicians Jonny Greenwood, Meredith Monk, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Howard Skempton and Jon Hopkins.

Marshmallow Laser Feast (MLF) is an experiential artist collective. They believe in the power of stories to tickle senses and shift perceptions. Their work takes people on a multisensory journey to where imagination and information collide. MLF exhibited internationally at institutions including ACMI, Melbourne, AU (2023-2024); Barbican Centre, London, UK (2022); and ArtScience Museum, Singapore, SG (2022).

A ticket with a fixed time slot is required to visit the immersive installation Marshmallow Laser Feast: EVOLVER. A separate ticket is needed to access the central exhibition.

The venue is low-barrier but not fully accessible. The exhibitions are, among other things, accessible for wheelchair users.

Please note that some areas inside the venue may be a bit narrow for maneuvering with a wheelchair or walking aid.
