After a year’s break, we look forward to welcoming you in person back to the Oberhafen and to enjoy our festival with you. After consultation with the responsible authorities, we will open the doors and offer a real, physical exhibition visit. You will be able to book fixed timeslots in order to limit the number of visitors at any time. The safety of our festival guests is our top priority. We are well prepared, have developed hygiene protocols and can react quickly and flexibly to events on a daily basis. So there’ s nothing to stop you visiting the festival. We are looking forward to seeing you!
Festival Visit
You can experience all the artworks of this year’s program live on site at the Festival Centre. The booked slot is yours alone, enabling you to stroll through the virtual exhibition for one hour and watch whatever experiences reflect your mood. You can also engage with the immersive installations in our exhibition hall. There is a wide and diverse program for you to experience and enjoy. And if you don’t know what you want to see, our VRHAM! guides will be there to help you. The decision is even easier in the VR CINEMA. You can book a 30-minute slot and we will present a selection of curated VR artworks for you. Safety remains tantamount and so you will be safely distanced from other audience members as you experience these worlds through your own VR glasses.
Book your slot & hygiene on site
Book your time slot and immerse yourself in our virtual venue, or watch our selected 360° films in the Magenta VR Lounge. If you have booked your date and time slot for the exhibition, simply come to our ticket office in the Oberhafen 10 minutes before your allotted visit. According to the latest regulations of the city of Hamburg, you do not currently need a negative test result to visit our exhibition at the Oberhafen. We will ensure you receive your own disinfected glasses and that you are safely distanced from other visitors. Together we will make sure that we can all experience a safe festival!
