We, too, are facing a new challenge with this current situation. Nobody can foresee how the situation will develop in the coming weeks and months in Hamburg and all over the world. Currently we are in permanent exchange with the authorities and keep close contact with other VR and film festivals worldwide which have already been forced to adjust their programs as a result of the recent developments. The solidarity and inventiveness of the international VR community and the organizers has been very impressive and encouraging, leading to many creative solutions to deal with this crisis.
We are currently thinking about a physical edition of our festival here in Hamburg that is adapted to the current circumstances, while researching alternatives for new formats and digital strategies to make the great projects from all over the world accessible for you. We will of course keep you updated about the latest developments here and on social media.
