What is digital art?

Digital art is an art form that uses digital technologies as an essential part of its creation, presentation, or reception.

What does immersive mean?

“Immersive” literally means “to be absorbed into.” Immersive artworks pull you deeply into their world—visually, sonically or physically—dissolving the boundary between audience and artwork.

What is Virtual Reality?

Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer-generated, interactive environment experienced through a special headset. It allows you to immerse yourself in digital worlds and encounter art in a completely new way.

What should I know about using a VR headset?

Our guides will assist you with detailed usage instructions on site. Please let us know in advance if you experience motion sickness or have physical limitations. You can pause or stop the experience at any time.

Is the exhibition accessible?

We place great importance on accessibility wherever possible in our venues. The spaces are low-barrier but not fully accessible.

  • Access is step-free.

  • Please note that some areas inside the venue may be a bit narrow for maneuvering with a wheelchair or walking aid.

  • On-site assistance: Three support staff members will be available and happy to help if needed — for example, with moving chairs or providing orientation.

If you have any specific needs, feel free to contact us in advance at info@vrham.de.

Most of the artworks use visual media and can be visually stimulating. We therefore recommend getting in touch with our team ahead of your visit to find out what personalised access options we can offer: info@vrham.de.

Are there toilets, seating and refreshments available?

Yes, accessible toilets, seating areas, and food and drink options are available on-site.

Are animals allowed in the exhibition?

Unfortunately, animals are not permitted in the exhibition spaces due to the presence of sensitive technical equipment.

What languages does the team speak?

Our team speaks both German and English and is happy to help with any questions.

Can I take photos or videos in the exhibition and installation?

In most areas, photography is allowed—please observe signs on site. Feel free to tag us and the artists on Instagram! Some areas may have restrictions.
